My family and I live in San Diego. I have a husband, two children, two mastiffs and a cat. I used to have three cats, but the two brothers, Peanut and Butter, both passed away. The dogs' names are Shaka and Maggie. They are big and sweet (and sometimes naughty). My house is by the beach in Oceanside, where it is nice and cool. The dogs love to go for walks on the beach, and so do I.
I love adventure, and when I'm not at school, you can find me traveling around the country in my trailer or camping in a tent. I have a big diesel truck and a great travel trailer that is my tiny home on wheels. I love traveling all over the western states of our country, across mountain ranges, along coasts, and through peaceful forests and warm deserts. I always come home with my truck full of rocks, shells, wood, and all sorts of things I find on my hikes and trips. I love to bring those treasures to the classroom and share them with you.
I also love nature and science. I read about EVERYTHING, and I love to learn new things. When I travel I take lots of pictures of the places I visit and the things I see, and then I write about my adventures. I also have a garden at home with lots of different trees and plants, and I love to take pictures of their leaves and flowers up close. You will find that although I get excited about teaching you all subjects, I get especially excited about math and science. SCIENCE!! WOOT, WOOT!
I am excited to be your teacher this year, and I look forward to getting to know all about you, your family, and the things you love the most. :)
